The Operations Data Specialist is responsible for managing and analyzing data to support the Midstream Operations team. This role involves developing and maintaining data reports, ensuring data accuracy, and providing insights to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. This includes managing data in systems like Power BI.
- Report Development: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into operational performance. This includes developing new reports and consolidating existing ones to reduce redundancy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions. This includes collaborating with teams across Midstream Operations, IT, and other departments.
- User Support: Provide support to users by demonstrating tools, providing training, and addressing any issues related to data access and report usage.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure data governance and compliance with company policies and procedures. This includes maintaining data security and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a related field (e.g. Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration)
- 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel
- Experience with data governance and compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of Midstream Operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Midstream
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
