</div><div><p>NetApp is looking for a Product Manager to join the product management team, who has successfully managed Unified storage for block and file workloads in larger enterprise companies. He/she has a track record of working in highly effective product management teams and working collaboratively with global R&D.</p><p>This is an individual role reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, he/she will work closely with the company Product leadership teams, Sales, TME, Procurement, Marketing, Engineering and Support teams to execute a compelling product strategy working on the fastest growing segment within NetApp’s portfolio!</p><p>The ideal candidate for this role has a background in building and scaling product(s), strong technical hardware and business acumen, and vision to deliver product(s) that transforms the industry and most importantly has a software and hardware background around SAN and NAS and storage technologies for on-premises. This role is focused on all flash unified storage, which is an evolving market bridging the gap between spinning media and high-performance flash media. </p><p><br><b>Position Responsibilities & Essential functions</b></p><p>• Gather, validate, and evaluate product/market requirements through market and customer research, competitive and product research involving customer visits, advisory councils, industry events, analyst relationships, etc.<br>• Provide insights into the business through analytics and market research in collaboration with Product and Technical Marketing, the data analytics and the Procurement teams<br>• Coordinate with engineering and the field to facilitate BETA testing activities with end users/testers<br>• Translate system functionality into a business relevant language<br>• Influence pricing and cross functional requirements (sales, channels, services and marketing) to bring offer(s) to market for on-premises and cloud deployments covering CAPEX and OPEX and consumption-based pricing and As-a-Service offerings<br>• Manage pricing and work with supply chain and procurement and vendor partners to improve margins and/or reduce costs<br>• Collaborate with R&D to translate market requirements into innovative new technology and with support to deliver solutions that have fast time-to-value and accelerate time-to-revenue<br>• Execute product vision, direction, and business plans, including product plans/roadmaps, product evolution and product lifecycle process<br>• Exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures. <br>• Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways. <br>• Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines. <br>• Able to independently resolve most blockers and raise major issues proactively</p></div></div><div><div><h2>Job Requirements</h2>
</div><div><p><b>Minimum requirements:</b></p><p>• 8+ years in product management. <br>• Experience in hardware product management<br>• Experience in server, networking and storage technology related experience for data centers, on-premises and understanding of storage technologies such as FCP, iSCSI, NVMe, SMB, NFSv3/NFSv4, S3, SATA, SAS, RAID and erasure coding topology<br>• Knowledge with backup and disaster recovery architectures for SAN and NAS environments<br>• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary<br>• Work on the technical issues reported by customers on the new/deployed product<br>• Strong analytical and logical skills<br>• Ability to build and/or use tools for BOM, Sizing, Pricing, etc. <br>• Problem-solving and organizational skills<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment<br>• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally. <br>• Experience working with teams across geographies and business units.<br>• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication/presentation skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.<br>• BA/BS required, in Computer Science or related technical degree preferred</p><p><br><b>Preferred requirements:</b><br>• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, SalesForce, Jira<br>• Hands on experience on provisioning of storage devices for out of box experience<br>• Deep knowledge around CPUs, GPUs and DPUs and PCIe, NVMe and SSDs<br>• Ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with extreme attention to detail<br>• MBA</p><p><br><b>Travel requirements:</b><br>15% to 25% of travel is required </p></div></div><div><div><h2>Education</h2>
