POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Finance Sr Manager will be responsible for providing financial oversight and support for the key activities of the Commercial teams for our U.S. Frito business. The successful candidate will be an active business partner with the Commercial teams working toward common goals to drive growth and profitability. This position will be responsible for developing analysis that will provide the foundation for significant business decisions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the advancement of the financial digitalization journey including reporting of Frito and U.S. Flavor. This role will design, prepare, oversee and manage the advancement of reporting automation and consolidation for U.S. Flavor Solutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead financial oversight of the forecasting and budgeting process including financial review and coordination with demand planning, sales operations, sales, marketing, commercialization, supply planning and supply chain finance
- Lead financial accountability with business partners for gap closing and opportunity action plans
- Lead financial oversight of new products and customer pipeline product opportunities
- Lead financial insights for ad hoc business requests related to product sales and profitability, customer sales and profitability, and business unit sales and profitability
- Lead the annual pricing process with other finance and business functions
- Review the annual and bi-annual pricing requirements and provide insights, recommendations, and summaries available to be presented to the customer
- Coordinate with Pricing team to understand the impacts and financial requirements in the forecast process for pricing changes. Provide financial oversight and coordination with the pricing team for target setting and action planning purposes.
- Manage the Sales Incentive Bonus plan by providing leadership in target setting, standard reporting and final pay-out process
- Serve as the key business partner to support the commercial team’s short-term projects and long-term strategic initiatives
- Utilize systems to improve analytics and processes to drive data-based insights
- Design reporting that effectively communicates financial measurements, targets and analysis in an automated and consolidated manner for financial and non-financial leadership
- Drive and influence change management for the utilization of new and enhanced reporting
- Coordinate with other financial and business functions to expand data capabilities and implement new systems/processes for more automated reporting
- Demonstrate leadership and influence through active participation and representation of Commercial Finance in regular Executive Level Leadership meetings
- Demonstrate leadership through management of intern and/or financial analyst
- Maintain appropriate internal control environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 8+ years finance analyst or planning experience
- 2+ years project management experience supporting finance initiatives with the business functions
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and basic proficiency of Power Point & Word required
- Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills including presenting to various levels of leadership
- Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines
- Demonstrated complex financial analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven team player
- Demonstrated proactive ability to learn new systems and processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change management
- Excellent prioritization skills in managing tasks across business leaders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA and/or CPA
- TM1 and SAP/BW experience
- PowerBI experience

Base Salary: $100,870 - $176,480
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
