We are seeking a Global Product Specialist to join Services Business Area team. As a Product Specialist, you will have the role to lead improvements on the wear and spare components applied in Stirred Mills (Vertimill, HIGmill and SMD) and HRCTM (HPGRs) acting as Global technical support within Business Line. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to VP Stirred Mills & HPGR (Services).
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba/SP and it involves up to 30% of travel.

What you’ll do
• Primarily technical support for all aspects of the product and business needs, internal and external training, supplier analysis, customer opportunity analysis
• Define the technical value of stirred mills products for our customers and disseminate this knowledge through the organization
• Direct and assist Product & Process engineering in process design and optimization, machine design and improvements
• Direct/support Field Services group in what concern parts installation, commissioning, and optimizing machine operations
• Support engineering and procurement with vendor qualification and selection
• Act as a stakeholder for proposal scope, accuracy, and feasibility
• Contribute technically to the development of marketing and sales tools
• Responsible to improve the product portfolio, processes, specifications, quality requirements
• Support the harmonization and standardization of product data
• Support the R&D initiatives - Works with RTD to drive long-term product competitiveness and innovativeness
• Support the maintenance of Price lists (Global and Market Areas)
• Support the initiatives for inventory management
• Develop technical content for product and service training
• Support the standardization and harmonization of product data
• Develop new designs for the existing products
• Provide technical information to product management, sales, manufacturing and purchasing teams
• Provide technical lead in developing business opportunities
• Assist with field problem analysis and creation of field solutions
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
Who you are
Bachelor’s in engineering or relevant work experience (+5 years). Professional experience in technical support for mining products.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish will be an advantage.
Engineering knowledge in some of these tools: Teamcenter, Vault Professional, Inventor and/or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of SAP and Office. Knowledge of Power BI will be a plus.
Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage
