Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive team player with genuine integrity, desire to ensure the development, validation, communication and efficient implementation of new or changing items/services to strengthen our Procurement Team, on the position of:
Strategic Buyer
A day in the life of Strategic Buyer
- Creating and delivering the overall Category Sourcing Strategy, solutions and implementation plans that that meet the current and future business needs.
- Performing supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, as well as the mapping of how sourcing process and channels work within the locally managed category, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing and executing negotiation events seeking best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) contracts, optimizing TDC (Total Delivered Costs) and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers for the locally managed categories.
- Ensuring effective contract management follow up activities are in place.
- Preparation and execution of negotiation events in partnership with stakeholders & procurement specialists.
- Promoting and ensuring Compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, standards and Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, Nestlé Supplier Code, Best Practices, etc.
What will make you successful?
- Ideally, you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking who has Project Management experience and university degree in relevant field.
- You are advanced communicator and negotiator able to deliver results through others and influence with integrity.
- You have excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken. You are advanced user of MS Office package. Ariba knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
