About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Systems Analyst to join our IT security team. This role focuses on Mobile Device Management (MDM), Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), vulnerability management, and broader endpoint security practices. The ideal candidate will bring at least 6 years of experience in endpoint security, a strong technical background, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management. Experience in managing Mac environments and creating insightful reports and dashboards will be a strong advantage.
What You Will Do:
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Unified Endpoint Management (UEM): Deploy, manage, and maintain MDM/UEM solutions to ensure secure management of devices across the organization.Enforce security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices for mobile and endpoint devices.Troubleshoot MDM/UEM-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Vulnerability Management: Monitor and manage vulnerability assessment tools and processes to identify and remediate potential risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to patch vulnerabilities and ensure endpoint protection measures are up to date.Stay current on emerging threats and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Mac Estate Management (Added Advantage): Oversee and manage security and performance optimization for Mac devices across the organization.Ensure compatibility of Mac endpoints with the organization’s MDM and vulnerability management frameworks.
- Reporting and Dashboarding: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into endpoint security, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.Present findings and recommendations to senior management, enabling informed decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the point of contact for security issues related to endpoints, working closely with IT and security teams.Educate users and stakeholders about security best practices and compliance requirements.Work with the SOC and CIRT team in case of a security incident.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively research and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the security posture of endpoint devices.Drive innovation in MDM, UEM, and vulnerability management practices within the organization.
What You Bring:
- Experience:Minimum 6 years of professional experience in endpoint security, MDM, UEM, and vulnerability management.Proven expertise in managing and securing large-scale device estates, including mobile devices, laptops, and desktops.
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or any other domain with good exposure to the JD requirements.
- Technical Skills:Hands-on experience with leading MDM/UEM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar tools.Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7.Knowledge of Mac management tools and practices (Jamf Pro experience is a plus).Strong skills in reporting and dashboard creation using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- Relevant UEM or Cybersecurity Certifications, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience in working with senior management and delivering high-level reports and recommendations.
- Familiarity with AI-driven security tools and platforms.
